Breakfast: Suikerbrood

A kroket broodje is a sandwich with a kroket. A kroket is a crispy snack filled with soft meat or other ingredients. You eat it warm, usually with mustard. It’s a popular and quick lunch in the Netherlands.
Drink: Flugel
Flügel is a small, sweet drink with vodka and red berry flavor. It comes in a tiny bottle, and many people drink it at parties or festivals. It’s fun and very Dutch!
Dinner: Hutspot met Gehaktbal
Hutspot is a traditional Dutch dinner. It’s mashed potatoes, carrots, and onions mixed together. People eat it with a gehaktbal, which is a big meatball. It’s warm and filling, perfect for cold days.
Breakfast: Vlokken Puur
Vlokken puur are chocolate flakes that you put on bread. "Puur" means dark chocolate. Dutch people love eating bread with sweet toppings like vlokken for breakfast. It’s delicious and fun to eat!
Lunch: Broodje Unox
A broodje Unox is a sandwich with a hot dog from the brand Unox. It’s a warm, tasty lunch, often served with mustard or ketchup. You can find it at food stands, especially in winter.
Snack: Jodekoek
A jodekoek is a big, round cookie. It’s buttery, sweet, and crispy. It’s perfect as a snack with coffee or tea. Many people in the Netherlands enjoy this traditional cookie.
Dinner: Slavink AVG
Slavink is a Dutch meat dish made from ground meat wrapped in bacon. It’s often served with potatoes, vegetables, and gravy (called "AVG" in Dutch). It’s a classic Dutch dinner that’s simple and tasty.
Breakfast: Appelflap
An appelflap is a pastry filled with apple pieces and cinnamon. It’s crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. Dutch people often eat it for breakfast or as a treat with coffee.
Lunch: Bami Friet
Bami friet is fried noodles wrapped in a crispy coating, shaped like a stick. It’s a popular snack or lunch in the Netherlands, often served with peanut sauce or sweet chili sauce.
Snack: Oliebollen
Oliebollen are Dutch doughnuts. They are round, fried, and sometimes have raisins inside. People eat them during the winter, especially on New Year’s Eve. They are soft and sweet, covered with powdered sugar.
Dinner: AVG
AVG stands for "Aardappelen, Vlees, Groente," which means potatoes, meat, and vegetables. It’s a simple and traditional Dutch dinner. Sometimes, there’s also gravy or sauce with it.
Breakfast: Jodekoek
A jodekoek is a big, round cookie. It’s sweet, buttery, and crispy. Dutch people enjoy it with coffee or tea, but it’s also a simple and tasty breakfast.
Lunch: 12 Uurtje
A "12 uurtje" means "12 o’clock meal." It’s a small lunch with different foods on one plate, like bread with ham or cheese, soup, a small croquette, and sometimes a fried egg. It’s a mix of tasty things!
Snack: Bossche Bol
A Bossche bol is a big round pastry filled with cream and covered in chocolate. It’s sweet and very rich. People usually eat it as a treat or snack with coffee.
Dinner: Gehaktbal met Rode Biet
This is a traditional Dutch dinner: a gehaktbal (meatball) served with cooked red beets (rode biet). Often, it comes with mashed potatoes or gravy. It’s warm, simple, and filling.
Breakfast: Zeeuwse Bolus
A Zeeuwse bolus is a sweet roll covered in cinnamon and sugar. It’s soft and sticky, perfect for breakfast or a snack. It comes from Zeeland, a province in the Netherlands.
Lunch: Huzarensalade
Huzarensalade is a cold salad made with potatoes, vegetables, and pieces of meat or fish. It’s mixed with mayonnaise and is a light, refreshing lunch. People often eat it with bread.
Snack: Boterkoek
Boterkoek is a rich, buttery cake. It’s soft and sweet, with a golden top. Dutch people enjoy it as a snack with coffee or tea.
Dinner: Braadworst met Bloemkool
This dinner includes braadworst, which is a type of Dutch sausage, served with bloemkool (cauliflower). It’s usually eaten with potatoes and gravy, making it a hearty and traditional Dutch meal.
Breakfast: Anijs Hagel
Anijs hagel is a topping made of little sugar sprinkles with anise flavor. Dutch people put it on bread with butter. It has a sweet and spicy taste, perfect for a unique breakfast.
Lunch: Gehaktbal Broodje

A brosse eierkoek is a soft, round cookie made with eggs. It’s sweet, light, and often eaten as a quick lunch or snack. Many Dutch people love it with a little butter on top.
Drink: Chocomel
Chocomel is a famous Dutch chocolate milk. It’s creamy, sweet, and can be served hot or cold. People enjoy it at any time of the day.
Dinner: Aspergesoep
Aspergesoep is a creamy soup made from white asparagus, which is very popular in the Netherlands. It’s warm, rich, and often served with bread for dinner.
Breakfast: Stroop Pannenkoek
