Located in Oosterhout, a little city at 15 minutes by car from Breda, De Vrijheid is a perfect place to have a delicious and sophisticated moment ! In this article I want to introduce and show you one of my favourite hotspots in the Netherlands.
De Vrijheid is a fancy restaurant located on the beautiful Heuven in Oosterhout in Brabant. In the summer you can enjoy a large terrace on the sunny south with a view on the beautiful gree Slotpark. During winter, you can enjoy the wonderful inside and fine decoration . You can visit for a delicious lunch, a nice drink or a fancy dinner . I must say that the ambiance really makes me feel special and really sophisticated ! If you listen well, sometimes you can hear a bit of French music so it always make me smile. The lovely crew is always here to make sure that everything goes well and that you are having a nice moment.
The food in this restaurant is absolutely delicious and always well presented. The crew proposes to pair the food with a glass of red or white wine especially selected for the meal. I started the tasting with a fresh glass of Cava, a bubble wine. After this refreshing moment, I enjoyed a smoked venison ham with apple, chicory, walnuts and cranberry port dressing. After this first tasting, the main dish arrived : a baked pork tenderloin with noodles and gravy with hoisin sauce paired with a delicious glass of red wine from Italy. As dessert, I could taste the gingerbread parfait with a tasty spring roll of red fruits. The restaurant is dedicated to change the card frequently and always proposing products of quality.
My little food crush of the dinner was this delicious cheese board ! The crémeux de Bourgogne cheese was a heavenly moment ! The food is once again delicious and you will be perfectly welcomed. I truly recommend this delightful restaurant and if you go there, say hi to the team for me !
